Join AIFD for our last Saturday night at Hancock Recreation Center! After more than 50 years, AIFD bids a fond farewell to Saturday night dances at Hancock as we look forward to continuing our weekly dancing there on Fridays. This will be a rollicking send-off, with time-honored favorites both bittersweet and buoyant, and featuring live dance music from our very own Slavadillo and the TXFD Community Band!** Franklin Houston will DJ this special evening, assisted by Dee McCandless. NOTE: There will be NO newcomers' session or intermediate teaching this night, so the regular dance program will start at 7:30 rather than 8. Be there at the start to do even more of your favorite dances. **All folk dance musicians are invited to play in the community band. Contact board@aifd.cc for more information.
