Halloween Party!!!
This week at dancing
Halloween Party!!!
Holly Sarah Martinez Come to the Halloween Monster Mash! In between live music sets by AIO enjoy mash-ups of your favorite dances. Holly Plotner will be our ghoulish DJ, assisted by Sarah Martinez. Also, get your costumes ready! Prizes for this week's costume contest will go to the most:
- Terrifying
- Disgusting
- Disguised
- Over the top
- What in the world are you?
Bring an item for the potluck snack table.

Saturday, October 26th

$5 at the door 17 & older. 16 & under free.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Texas Camp Band!!!
Enjoy a fun evening of live music provided by the Texas Camp Band. Band participants from around the state will be in town to hone their sound in preparation for Texas Camp.
Saturday & Sunday, November 23rd & 24th
AIFD Crew Action on the Texas Camp Floor. Let’s carpool and see how many people we can mobilize from AIFD to help assemble the floor at Greene Family Camp (Bruceville, TX). We'll be back before dark. For details contact the floor czars, Mike Revesz or John Alexander.

No dancing at Hancock (Hopefully you will be at Texas Camp).

Saturday, December 7th
Candle Light Trail at Hancock - FREE!!! Join us as we help the community celebrate Hancock's annual Candle Light Trail. Beginning at dusk people from Christmas candleall over will converge on Hancock to walk the trails illuminated with candle light and then come inside for hot chocolate and snacks, as well as a chance to visit with Santa. Around 7:30 (when Santa leaves) AIFD will take over with a series of easy dances done to Christmas and Hanukkah music. Later we transition to our regular, fun program.

Call for musicians and singers for the Texas Camp Band! The pre-camp Texas Camp Band rehearsal will take on Saturday, November 2 from 12 noon - 4 pm at Leslie & Bob Gompf's house in north central Austin, 6905 Stahl Cove, 512-418-8857. If you are not on the txfdmusic list, please contact Don Weeda at don.weeda@austin.utexas.edu for details and access to the music.
Texas Camp 2013 registration is now open! Steve and Susy Kotansky will teach Hungarian couples and Albanian/other Balkan at this, the 66th annual Texas Camp, Nov 28 - Dec 1. For all the details of this exciting camp , and to download a brochure (if you have not already received one in the mail) go to tifd.org. To register online: tifd.org/camp-registration. Key Registration Dates:
November 1 - Deadline for regular registration ($25 late fee after this date)
