  Start Halloween a few days early with AIFD. AIO will provide fun live music. Wear your costumes to make this party great!!! Our DJ will be Dee McCandless. Dee will be assisted by Jeff Kessel. |
Teaching: Come at 7 p.m. for a second week of fun teaching of dances to get you in the mood for the Moldavian Dance Party on November 1st.  This week we feature two teachers -- Misi Tsurikov and Vera Pintér. Vera is a native of Hungary and is here on a scholarship to promote Hungarian language, music, dance, and culture. Admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older.
There is no fee for those under 18,
Persons 17 and younger must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

Friday, November 1: Moldavian Dance Party
With Live Hungarian Music!!
Join us for an evening of Moldavian dancing with special guest musicians all the way from Hungary! No partner or experience is  necessary to enjoy these high-energy dances. Misi will teach some Hungarian dances on the two weeks prior to this, and there will also be quick teaching and walk-through’s during the evening!!
There will be a short couples’ Mezosegi as a sneak preview for the Hungarian Tanchaz happening the next night. See Upcoming Other Dance features below for more details! |

November Birthdays and Anniversaries
and Samodivas Singing Group!!
Do you or a fellow dancer have a birthday or anniversary in November? Come to folk dancing to celebrate with song, dance, and cake! That evening we will also be treated to a performance by the Samodivas Singing Group (details forthcoming).

English Country Dancing Basics and Beyond.
A six-week introductory class on Monday evenings at Hancock Recreation Center, 7:30 – 9:30 pm, Culminating in an English Country Dance Ball, featuring live music, on November 18th.
Instructors: Sylverre Polhemus and Elizabeth Stehl.
