This Friday at dancing
Live Music with Homegrown Contra Band!! Misi DJs, Kathleen assists.
|
Enjoy a fun evening of dancing this week with live music provided by Homegrown Contra Band! HGCB will be playing two sets of international music and, because no contra band is worth its weight in music stands without it, will play a lively contra called by Kathleen McDonagh. Misi Tsurikov will be our DJ this week, assisted by Kathleen.
|
Teaching: This week is our second class in our Fall Into Scandi series. Norris and Lane Foster Harrell will continue teaching a version of Swedish Slängpolska that is done at festivals and dance evenings in Sweden today.

Friday, October 30: A Halloweenish Party!! Anything goes at our All Hallows' Eve-eve dance! Test out your latest getup, or trot out your rejects from yesteryear. We welcome the wacky, the weird, the subtle, the mixes and matches, the spooky and the cuddly (as well as the more conventional fare—after all, the Hancock troll should have a varied diet). And our dance program might have a few tricks and treats too! |

Always embrace each moment you have,
You deserve a break it's not a debate.
