Vera is a native of Hungary and is here on a scholarship to promote Hungarian language, music, dance, and culture. Read Vera's bio here.

Friday, November 1: Moldavian Dance Party
With Live Hungarian Music!!

Join us for an evening of Moldavian dancing with special guest musicians all the way from Hungary! No partner or experience is Moldavian Nightnecessary to enjoy these high-energy dances. Misi will teach some Hungarian dances on the two weeks prior to this, and there will also be quick teaching and walk-through’s during the evening!!

There will be a short couples’ Mezosegi as a sneak preview for the Hungarian Tanchaz happening the next night. See Upcoming Other Dance features below for more details!

Our annual tradition of having the Texas Camp Band come and play for us prior to Texas Camp.

A six-week introductory class on Monday evenings at Hancock Recreation Center, 7:30 – 9:30 pm, Culminating in an English Country Dance Ball, featuring live music, on November 18th.
Instructors: Sylverre Polhemus and Elizabeth Stehl.
