No dancing at Hancock this Saturday.
Thanksgiving We hope you are tearing it up on the dance floor in Bruceville at Texas Camp, 2013. If you are not at Texas Camp, we hope you have a great holiday weekend where ever you are. Travel safely everyone.

Saturday, December 7th
Candle Light Trail at Hancock - FREE!!! Join us as we help the community celebrate Hancock's annual Candle Light Trail. Beginning at dusk people from Candleall over will converge on Hancock to walk the trails illuminated with candle light and then come inside for hot chocolate and snacks, as well as a chance to visit with Santa. Around 7:30 (when Santa leaves) AIFD will take over with a series of easy dances done to Christmas and Hanukkah music. Later we transition to our regular program.

Old World Winterland Ball, December 28th
Get ready to celebrate the closing of 2013 with AIFD's Old World Winter Ball, Saturday, December 28th. See our website. More details forthcoming.

Thursday, December 12th: SLAVIC SHAKE at the Russian House! Come at 8pm for an hour of dance teaching by the fabulous Bill Ogilvie and Misi Tsurikov interspersed with live music by Genevieve's band, Korobushka! Wino Vino will go on afterward and feature a medley of Balkan, Klezmer, Latin American, New Orleans style jazz and original tunes that will keep you shakin' that thang all night long. $6 cover, 307 East 5th St.
