Be the Tipping Point

Don't say, "It's been a long time since we've seen you." Say, "It's so wonderful to see you at dancing! We've missed you."

Chuck Roth Saturday, December 1st: Come celebrate Chuck Roth's 80th Birthday Party with a FREE night of folk and contra dancing at HRC. Kaye and Chuck will provide cake, fruit and beverages. No presents, but please bring other snacks to share.

Live music for the contra dances and many of the folk dances will be provided by The Home Grown Contra Band and other musicians.

Candle Saturday, December 8th: Enjoy a FREE evening of holiday festivities and dancing at Hancock Rec Center's annual Trail of Lights. Walk the lighted trails on the golf course, enoy some treats, and then enjoy an evening of dancing.

FIDDLISA and friends: "Waltz 'Til You Drop, Part Deux"@Monkey Nest
Enjoy a fun evening of waltz music and dancing with Lisa Schneider and friends on Friday, November 30th, at the Monkey Nest, 5353 Burnet Road. Campbell from Austin Social Dance will kick things off at 8:30 with a dance primer. The wooden dance floor is a little small, but the ambiance is great.

Volunteers for
December 1st and 29th

December 1st, Chuck Roth's 80th Birthday Party: Masha Masha is looking for volunteers to help with setup and teardown for this fun event. Setup will be from 7-7:30, and teardown will start at 10:45 and end at 11. If you are available to help out, please email Masha.

December 29th, A Night in Michel Old Vienna: This memorable evening of folk dancing will include a New Year's celebration based on the traditions of old and present Vienna. Michel is looking for volunteers to help with the setup and teardown, as well as some special events during the evening. Please email Michel.
