This week at dancing An evening of live music with the Home Grown Contra Band!!! Enjoy a lively evening of dancing with live music provided by the Home Grown Contra Band. They will perform two sets of dance music from around the world each set containing a contra. Look and listen for Anne Alexander's new booming tupan along with her exotic hurdy gurdy; Franklin Houston's refurbished accordion and his wild and crazy trumpet; Joane Rylander's mad mandolin; Holly Plotner's fabulous fiddle and Dena Houston's throbbing guitar. Madeline Brock will DJ that evening, assisted by Misi Tsurikov - who will also ensure stellar sound quality. Teaching: Join us this week for a second helping of Chef (pronounced "Kef"), introduced last week by Rikki Nicolae. Rikki will review part one of this lively Transylvanian Roma dance.
