Join us this week for a fun evening of folk dancing. Our DJ this week will be John Scales. John does not have an assistant (yet). Being an assistant is a great way to learn the ropes about how to DJ, so don't hesitate to volunteer.

 Teaching: Ventzi, Fusae, and Andy taught many dances at SAFDF 2023. This Friday, we'll start teaching or walking through the more accessible dances. They're still new to our minds, so it may be a village effort to ensure we get them all right!

 Next Week: La Strada!!!
Make sure to come to dancing next week, April 7th, when you can dance to the lively tunes of the local band La Strada.

April 8: hAmaro Festival, 2023 hAmaro fest - Celebrates the beauty of Romani-India Texas music and culture. 3:30 - 8:30 pm. Central Market North. Free to public.
There will also be an afternoon accordion workshop with the virtuoso accordionist Sergiu Popa. Sergiu Popa is a specialist in the traditional music of the Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Details and registration can be found at innovativeaccordion.org. Sergiu will join hAmaro 2023 fest starting at 6:30.
