SLOW DANGER
plays for AIFD!!!
Thanks to the initiative put forth by our own Genevieve Kent, last Saturday folk dancers were treated to the live music of the NOLA brass band Slow Danger.Slow Danger Slow Danger was in town for the annual Honk Texas weekened. Genevieve had taken it upon herself to scope the festivities looking for a band that might just play several familiar folk dance tunes. She bumped into Slow Danger and found that Genevievethey were a perfect fit for Saturday night folk dancing. After some prodding and smooth talking, she was able to convince them to show up at dancing and play a nice set for tips. What a blast. Thanks Slow Danger, and thanks Genevieve.
