Whether you’re a “Tacky Annie” or “Shorty George”, you won’t want to take even a “half-break” from learning this vintage American dance from the early 20th century.

Social Dancing in Austin & Free Day of Dance. |
Those who attended Campbell Miller's classes at last year's Texas Camp got a taste of how much fun social dancing can be. But you may not be aware of the array of social dance opportunities in and around Austin. Austin is not only the "Live Music Capitol of the World". It also home to multiple social dance events every night of the week. If you've wanted to check out social dancing in Austin but weren't sure where to begin, a good starting point is a class at one of Austin's many dance studios, such as Go Dance, Austin Social Dance (Campbell Miller's group), Four on the Floor, Austin Uptown Dance, and if you live up north, the newly opened Rhythms Social Dance Studio. |
Some of these facilities, and many others, will be participating in Austin's Free Day of Dance on Saturday, January 30th.
