Madeline Brock reviews U Sest from last week and expands on the dance with additional variations. Lisa Dielman reviews Ciuleandra taught last week. |
Contra: Our Contra this week will be called by Marc Airhart. |
Friday, January 24, 7-9:45 pm. Admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older. There is no fee for those under 18. Persons 17 and younger must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

Join us for a fun and eclectic evening of mostly-couple dances from a variety of places -- Hungary, Transylvania, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the USA, Argentina, and who knows where else! We'll have fun recorded music, and anticipate being blessed with beautiful live music from local talented musicians. Bring your smiles, and bring your friends! Maslenitsa is an Eastern Slavic holiday, that among other things, celebrates the end of Winter with festivities and fun.
