Denise FynmoreJeff KesselEnjoy a lively evening of folk dancing DJ'd by Denise Fynmore. Denise will be assisted by Jeff Kessel. This week we'll celebrate our dancers who have a birthday or anniversary in January with song, dance, and cake.

Franklin HoustonLisa Horn DielmanTeaching: Franklin Houston and Lisa Horn-Dielman will continue their 4-week course on the basics of Cajun and Zydeco couple dances, including Two-Step, Waltz, Baisse Bas, and Zydeco. Toward the end of the course, they will introduce the easier variations of the Whiskey River Jitterbug and Zydeco that were presented at Texas Camp.

Elizabeth StehlContra: Our Contra this week will be done at 8:35 (just after announcements) and will be called by Elizabeth Stehl.

Friday, January 18, 7-9:45 pm.
Admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older.

There is no fee for those under 18,
but they must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

**Four Week Cajun and Zydeco Class**

ZydecoStarting January 11 through February 1, at 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Franklin Houston and Lisa Horn-Dielman will teach the Cajun and Zydeco dances that were taught at Texas Camp by Michael Seider!! This will be a great time to learn and enjoy these dances if you didn’t attend Texas Camp! More details to come!

San Antonio Folk Dance Festival!!!

Are you CPR/AED certified?
Safety First! The AED (Automated External Defibrillator) is located next to the attendant's desk at Hancock. Even if you are not certified to operate the device, Automated External Defibrillatorjust knowing where it is could save a life. If you are certified to operate the AED please let the Board know. The Board will not keep an official list, but would like to know who to turn to in the event of an emergency. Thanks! (more details here.)
