Cajun/Zydeco Class Wk 4

Dee McCandlessLisa Horn DielmanEnjoy a lively evening of folk dancing DJ'd by Dee McCandless. Dee will be assisted by Lisa Horn.

Franklin HoustonTeaching: Franklin Houston and Lisa Horn-Dielman return for the fourth and final week of their 4-week course on Cajun and Zydeco couple dances. They'll continue work on Baisse Bas, Cajun Waltz & Two-Step, and basic Zydeco. If the crowd is up for it, they'll then teach basic moves of the Zydeco Two-Step and do an introduction of the Whiskey River Jitterbug, both from the 2018 Texas Camp.

Nana LopezContra: Our Contra this week will be done at 8:35 (just after announcements) and will be called by Nana Lopez.

Friday, February 1, 7-9:45 pm.
Admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older.

There is no fee for those under 18,
but they must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

Feb 8 - Mar 1: 4 week beginner / refresher class.
Madeline BrockBeginning February 8th and lasting through March 1st, Madeline Brock will kick off each Friday with a 30 minute class designed for newcomers to folk dancing and for those looking for a refresher on some basics. Madeline is a talented and engaging teacher, so if you have friends who have been wanting to check out folk dancing but have been hesitant, this is the class for them.

Valentines Day Dance!!

Come and celebrate this day (one day late) with your friends at AIFD!! We will have LIVE MUSIC with La Strada (because we LOVE them). We will have lots of kisses -- the chocolate kind! Wearing something RED is optional, but fun!
