Special announcement: filming this week.
cameraman cameraman The City's Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) is working on a program to promote Hancock Recreation Center's activities to the community. This week, a PARD representative will be interviewing Dena and Franklin Houston because they have been involved with Hancock for 50 years and AIFD has been the activity at Hancock they love the most. He will also videotape two dances at AIFD around 9 PM that evening.

Enjoy a fun evening of dancing to the lively tunes of our returning champions, La Strada!! La Strada's repertoire includes a number of our favorite folk dance tunes, as well as other dance classics, all of which will have you John ScalesGilberto Riveraswirling and turning on the dance floor. Here is a snippet of the La Strada performing at one of the farmers' markets. John Scales will DJ this fun evening of dancing. John will be assisted by Gilberto Rivera.

This year features Bulgarian dances with Yves Moreau, French Canadian and children's dances with France Bourque-Moreau, and West African dances with Tonya Pennie.
