This Friday at dancing
| Candle Light Trail Open House!!! Madeline DJ's, Christian assists.

Join AIFD and Austin Parks and Rec for the 2015 Holiday Candle Light Trail celebration!! Walk among the thousands of luminaries that will line the trails of the golf course. Then come inside for some hot chocolate and cookies and lots of great folk dancing. Look for teaching and walkthroughs of our fun, crowdpleasing dances. You will also likely see a few dances from Texas Camp 2015! There should be loads of new faces so be ready to encourage others to get out on the dance floor. This event will be FREE and will have extended hours: 7-10:45, so make sure to invite your friends. Madeline Brock will DJ this lively evening. Her assistant will be Christian Cie.

December 11th: December Birthday & Anniversary Celebration!! Do you have an December birthday or anniversary? Do you know a fellow folk dancer who does? Come to folk dancing to be serenaded and enjoy some delicious cake!

December 18th: Julfest!! Capping off our Fall Into Scandi teaching, we’re going to Scandinavia for AIFD’s Annual Holiday Bash!. For this special event we will have extended hours: 7pm to 10:45. Stay tuned for other details, including information about live music. This will be AIFD's final event for 2015 as HRC will be closed on December 25th and January 1st.

Saturday, December 5th: 1001 Nights Orchestra at the Russian House.
After a relatively long break, the 1001 Nights Orchestra is back for a fun night of music and dance from the Middle East, the Balkans, the Caucasus and more! Saturday, December 5th, 9pm to midnight, at the Russian House. For complete details check out the event page.

Sunday, December 20th: Wassail Austin.
Please join us our 13th Solstice Christmas celebration. Expect a
feast of seasonal entertainment from our troupe of intrepid actors, magicians, dancers, musicians and poets. The big show happens at 5:30 pm, with a 40 minute kids show at 2:30 pm. This year's event will benefit the kids in the Darfur region of the
Sudan - via the Kids for Kids charity.
