This Friday at dancing
No dancing at HRC.

Hancock Rec Center will be closed on Friday, 12/23, in advance of Christmas Eve.  Lila Luce has graciously offered to host a party at her house instead starting at 7 pm. Please bring food and drink for the table. To our wonderful folk musicians, please bring your instruments to play in Lila's front room for the dancers. If you did not receive directions to Lila's house at dancing, please email the AIFD president, Madeline Brock. |

Friday, December 30th: New Year's Eve's Eve Ball.
 Join AIFD as we bid farewell to a lustrous year and celebrate the blessed beginning of another in our annual holiday ball, featuring special extended hours: 7 to 10:30pm. We'll gather around the hearth, adorned in all the costumes, finery, and noisemakers our hearts desire, and dance to exciting live music from AIO! AIFD will provide drinks; please feel free to bring victuals and refreshments to share.

Sunday, December 18: Wassail 2016! (evening show).
 Wassail is a fast-paced variety show celebrating Christmas and the Solstice. The stage at the historic Scottish Rite will be filled with magicians, poets, clowns, musicians and actors. All money raised goes to the Kids for Kids Charity, helping children make survive in the Darfur region of the Sudan. See the event page for full details and ticket information.

December 31: NYE Contra Dance Potluck.
Austin Contra Dancers are having a New Year's Eve potluck supper and contra dance in San Marcos, and of course it would be lovely to see all our AIFD friends! 6-11 pm. United Campus Ministry Wesley Center, 510 N GUADALUPE ST, SAN MARCOS. For full details, check out the TAADA calendar page.
