Teaching: Rikki Nicolae will present some of the magical Turkish dances that Ahmet Luleci taught at this year’s Texas Camp. Hop on your magic carpet and fly over to AIFD this Friday to learn these exciting dances. Teaching begins at 7 PM.

Friday, December 16, 7-9:45 pm The admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older. There is no fee for those under 18,
but they must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

Friday, December 23rd: No dancing at Hancock. House Party!!!
Hancock Rec Center will be closed in advance of Christmas Eve. Lila Luce has kindly offered to host a holiday party at her house starting at 7 pm. Please bring food and drink for the table. To our wonderful folk musicians, please bring your instruments to play in Lila's front room for the dancers. Party details will be available at dancing.

Friday, December 30th: New Year's Eve's Eve Ball.
Join AIFD as we bid farewell to a lustrous year and celebrate the blessed beginning of another in our annual holiday ball, featuring special extended hours: 7 to 10:30pm. We'll gather around the hearth, adorned in all the costumes, finery, and noisemakers our hearts desire, and dance to exciting live music from AIO! AIFD will provide drinks; please feel free to bring victuals and refreshments to share.

Sunday, December 18: Wassail 2016! (evening show).
Wassail is a fast-paced variety show celebrating Christmas and the Solstice. The stage at the historic Scottish Rite will be filled with magicians, poets, clowns, musicians and actors. All money raised goes to the Kids for Kids Charity, helping children make survive in the Darfur region of the Sudan. See the event page for full details and ticket information.
