New, Do, Review (NDR) All aboard! Grab your passports and join us this week as teacher Kathleen McDonagh leads us on a trip through Bulgaria! Our journey begins in the Rhodopes region with a patterned pravo –Pravo Čepelarsko Horo. From there we travel west to Pirin where we’ll dance Dramskoto, a Šetnja-like dance. Then it’s off to Ruse in Northeastern Bulgaria for Čestata, a pajduško variant danced to mouth harp music. See you at the terminal this Friday, and don’t forget to pack your dance shoes!

3rd Saturday Contra: Join us every 3rd Saturday at Go Dance Studio, 2525 W Anderson Ln. #530 in Northcross Mall Plaza (near First Watch and Guitar Center) for our monthly Contra Dance! The next dance is Saturday, August 16th; Caller: Dale Rempert; Band: O'Malarkey with Derek Smootz on wooden flute, Virginia Davis on fiddle, Michael McCauley on fiddle, and George Traugott on guitar.

AIFD Scholarships to Texas Camp
AIFD is offering one or more full (or part-time) scholarships to attend this year’s Texas International Folk Dance Camp in Bruceville (September 25 - 28, 2025). If you are interested in applying, please contact Madeline Brock at President@AIFD.cc by August 22nd. The camp registration deadline is September 5th.
