Don't be "sketchy".
Sketchy Guys
Once a year it is nice to include a primer from Richard Powers about Richard Powersgood dance etiquette: "Sketchy Guys". While it applies mainly to couples dancing, it has some good notes that everyone can benefit from. And while the term is somewhat sexist, for the most part it is guys who behave inappropriately, so they get the label.

What is a sketchy guy?
  1. Any man who is physically or emotionally rough with his partner, with a controlling attitude.
  2. A man who corrects his partner.
  3. A man who tries to pick up a woman on the dance floor.
  4. Stinky guys (and women).
Give it a read for full and share it readily.
Richard Powers is the social dance instructor at Stanford University. One of his fields of study is the history of dance, about which he has developed fascinating insights. Among the many people he has inspired is Campbell Miller, one of the instructors at Texas Camp, 2015.
