AIFD Board Elections on May 11!!!
|
A special meeting will be held on May 11 during dancing to elect AIFD Board members for the coming year. AIFD is always looking for people who are interested in serving the group as an officer or as a volunteer for specific AIFD activities. A list of nominees to date will be listed in next week's newsletter.

Enjoy a lively evening of All Request dancing. Our DJ this week, Madeline Brock, will try to play whatever is on the request list! Madeline will be assisted by Kathleen McDonagh. During the evening we will be serenaded by Women Singing: Anne Alexander, Charlotte Harris, Holly Plotner, Dee McCandless, Kathleen McDonagh, and Joane Rylander. |
Teaching: This week and next Robert Sampson will teach the lively Israeli couples dance Atzay Hatsaftsafot. This fun dance includes several couples turns, so make sure to were shoes that slide smoothly on the dance floor. |
Friday, April 27, 7-9:45 pm. Admission fee is $5 for those 18 and older. There is no fee for those under 18,
but they must be supervised by a designated person 18 or older.

AIFD is organized exclusively for educational purposes, including the promotion and teaching of traditional folk dance, music and crafts native to a variety of countries.

May 11: May Birthday & Anniversaries, plus AIFD Elections!!!

Do you have a birthday or anniversary in May, or know a fellow folk dancer who does? Come to folk dancing to celebrate with song, dance, and cake! We'll will also hold elections for the AIFD Board of Directors.

May 18: Live Music with Homegrown!
